On September 3rd I will be throwing myself out of an aircraft at 13,000 feet (2 miles high!). Luckily, I'm going to be strapped to someone who does this kind of thing all the time, but for someone who doesn't even like flying, it promises to be quite an experience.

I'm hoping that my plummet will raise some much needed funds for Children's Hospices UK, a really deserving charity that helps children and their families cope with the unimaginable pain of a desperately ill child.
