As alot of you will already know, for the last few years I have been taking part in the in the Cancer Research Race for Life in memory of a very close friend lost to cancer nearly 4 years ago last week.

My family have recently had the devasting news that my mum has lung cancer, it is aggressive, and it cannot be cured.

I, like everybody else and probably most of you reading this, thought that it would never happen to anybody in my family.  But it has and I now want to do everything I possibly can to raise money for these charities....Dorothy House Hospice, Cancer Research etc. in the hope that any small amount I raise can contribute towards finding a cure for this horrible disease. 

Those of you that know me, will know that I DO NOT do physical exercise so for me to be doing this is quite an achievement, so please sponsor me and contribute towards finding a cure for this horrible disease.
