The following is in Thomas words my son who is 12 years old  what he is doing in memory of my beautiful mam and his lovely nana 

I am cycling in memory of my Nanna who I was very close to. Sadly just about a year ago my Nanna was diagnosed with a Brain Tumor no doctor could cure, me and the rest of my family was very sad and within a year she passed away and with that in mind me and my friend Bethan decided to do an approximately 140 mile ride from Whitehaven to Roker (coast to coast) to ride in memory of my amazing Nanna and to raise money and awareness for Macmillan cancer research who helped my family and my Nanna through all our hard times
