Story

Hi all,

Some one has roped me into doing a 12 MILE WALK around the streets of Grimsby and Cleethorpes!!!  (there's more)

It starts at Midnight and there's no alcohol allowed.

And...... we have to do it in our pj's

However the best thing is I get to raise LOTS of money for our local St Andrew's Hospice in Grimsby.

The hospice looks after people with life limiting illnesses, it offers day care, alternative therapies, help and advice to families and professionals and also in-patient palliative care.

The hospice relies entirely on donations so please dig deep and sponsor me as much (or as little) as you can.

It would be great to help this valuable service.  The nurses, medical staff and all others who are involved there do a fantastic job, you can help make a difference too!

Thank you

love

Julie x

ps it's also for women only so i'm very excited about all the child-free chatting and giggling i'll be able to do!!

Wed 9th June

Training hampered by my croaky throat and Sarah's work pressures (only 6 weeks till holls sarah).

PLAN

To do a 'biggie' on sunday morning, bright and early so we're back before it gets dark!!

xx

Sun 13th June

One man down but Anna and I managed some training.

(Have a look at the pre-walk pic)

A 5.2 approx walk.  We started off at my house then tootled on down Humberston Ave, where it started raining (just after we'd taken our jumpers off)!!   Luckily there's some nice big trees down there, so didn't get too wet.  Then down Peaks Ave and onto Tescos.   We managed not to stop for coffee but found it tricky navigating, at speed, around the shoppers and trolleys.  Then onto the home straight down Humberston rd, where the jumpers came back off!  It took us a very respectable 1hr 20 mins.

NEXT PLAN

Another walk on wednesday xx

28th June

Oh My, only 3 more days to go.  Didn't get any more practices in with the girls but did lots of walking on holiday.  Plenty of miles to and from the toilet block!!!

Thanks to all my sponsors so far, keep em coming xx
