Story
I have dusted off my half marathon trainers to run the iconic GNR 2023 after vowing never again. But if I didn’t I would genuinely not get to see my lovely running buddies as they progressed their training and we can’t have that . Running and especially with friends is great for our mental health, it’s just a shame my body doesn’t feel the same way ! But I am determined to finish the training , even if it’s raining ( see photo of us looking like drowned rats - but still smiling ) and to finish the actual race on September 10th. MIND do a brilliant job which is so in demand unfortunately at the moment, with long wait times , and it would be great to be able to raise my target of £350 to help them. They suggest I ask people to guess my time when they donate , so guess away and the nearest will win a prize !
