Story
After slipping in the snow in 2016, breaking my right arm in two places and snapping the thumb tendon the road to recovery took 8 months. The 2 weeks at the Police Treatment Centre gave me intense physiotherapy, improving my arm strength and mobility aiding a speedy recovery.
In early 2018 I hit breaking point with several problems in my personal life and a critical incident at work which resulted in a period of sickness. I was accepted onto the well-being programme at the centre and the two weeks changed my mindset and outlook moving forward. The staff are all so happy to help and want to see you well again, both mentally and physically.
I intend to run the Liverpool Rock and Roll Half Marathon on Sunday 20th of May and want to raise as much money as possible to give back to this amazing place that I owe so much in aiding my recovery.
