Story
Only 4 training runs to go. It's the most focussed on anything I've ever been. Can't believe I've run over 500 miles in training. I'l do it, it won'a be fast and it won't be pretty, but I'll finish.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I have taught in the West Midlands for 23 years. During that time I have been involved in teaching, coaching and mentoring children from all backgrounds. As a Head of Year and Assistant Principal I witnessed, listened to and dealt with all the ills the world can throw at our young people. These children need people to listen to them, offer alternative futures and be there fighting their corner. The NSPCC has been there for these children for many years and with your help will be there for many more.

This is the first time I have ever embarked on a running challenge. Those who have known me for a long time will know how much of a challenge this will be. I am to running what a heatwave is to a snowman. An athlete built for brute force and ignorance rather than speed and agility I am filled with determination to succeed but also with fear at taking this on. Please spare a few pennies for the NSPCC and encourage me to keep going for 26 and a bit miles. Many thanks for all your support.
