I had a bizare realisation in January when i remembered that it is 25 years in June that my Dad died of Cancer. I asked myself what I had done during that time? Ok; so two years ago I rasied some money for Cancer Research by falling out of a plane at 10,000 ft; thankfully I happened to be attached to a robhust young man wearning a parachute. So now I have dispensed with lazy charity events.

I am going to attempt to cycle 100k through London on 8th June, 25 years almost to the day since my Dad died. Just like me - he was a fit and healthy middle aged father!!
