Story
On the morning of Friday 24th June, a small team from Stirling Ackroyd Group will leave our West Byfleet Head Office in Surrey with the aim of cycling around every branch in our network within 24 hours, a distance of around 150 miles, finishing back there on Saturday 25th June.
Why? To fundraise for Shooting Star Children's Hospices. A leading children’s hospice charity caring for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families.
Shooting Stars support families across Surrey and London from diagnosis to end of life and throughout bereavement with a range of nursing, practical, emotional and medical care
We want to raise as much money as we can for this invaluable cause which supports families when they need it most.
During the challenge, well be joined by colleagues travelling the distance between 2, 3, 4 or maybe more branches, and others will be covering the same distance at home or in the gym on a static bike or smart trainer. We'll be raising funds for Shooting Star Children's Hospices and your donation will help make every moment count for babies, children and young people with life limiting conditions, and their families.
