Please help me mark my Fabulous 40th by sponsoring me in lieu of birthday presents. I've chosen to jump out of a plane and waft serenely for 10,000 ft to raise much needed funds for jacksplace@naomihouse.

Jacksplace is a purpose built new unit for life limited young people aged 14-25 and their families. It is nearing completion and will offer the same care and support,  in a more suitable building and environment, that the Children's Hospice has provided over the years. With medical advances, more of the children are growing into and beyond their teens. The new building will give them greater opportunity to enjoy their surroundings and each others company, being specifically designed to take into account their tastes and requirements. It's exciting to see it developing.

Government funding only takes care of less than 10% of the Hospice's running costs, and with the recent freezing of £5.7million of the Charity's deposits in the Icelandic Banking crisis, fundraising is more crucial than ever. Please help me to do my bit to help them reach the £12million required to build and run jacksplace@naomihouse, your support and generosity would mean the world to me.
