Story
The thought of getting ill and leaving my family behind is my biggest fear, but for some, my fear is their living hell. Terminal illness has become a way of life, but that doesn’t make it any easier for those that have to live with it, day in and day out. Some families lives are consumed by illness and the daily activities that most people take for granted, are a distant memory. At a time of uncertainty, spending quality time with family and friends can help restore a sense of normality, boost confidence and create precious memories for the future. The Willow Foundation is a Hertfordshire based charity, set up by Bob Wilson and his wife Meg, following the death of their daughter. They provide special days to people aged between 16 and 40 years old. This could mean a family day out that a parent or child can cherish or for a young adult to enjoy special time with a partner. Running 26 miles is not a walk in the park and involves hours of self preparation and I KNOW I can do it with my family and friends behind me. So please donate now to this fantastic charity and make someone elses dreams come true. I know times are tough, but lets count our lucky stars and give what you can. Thanks guys. Love Jules xx
