The three of us (Julia, Claire and Abi) have decided to take part in the Walk the Wight challenge on Sunday 13 May and we’d love you to sponsor us.

We’ll be attempting the main walk, starting at Bembridge and walking the entire width of the island finishing 26.5 miles later at the Needles - a marathon! And if that wasn’t enough of a challenge there’s a time limit. If we don’t make it to Freshwater Bay by 4pm then we’re OUT OF THE RACE and we’ll be asked to stop. Slightly daunting as the three of us are more inclined towards a gentle amble with a long pub lunch.

Unsurprisingly we’re now beginning to wonder what we’ve signed up for. However, we’re going to give it our best shot, have fun regardless and we’d like to make some money for a good cause along the way.
