Win one of two hampers of booze and chocs. Tickets are £1 each. As well as doing this raffle to raise funds I am supporting Col Wood and Corinne Hill do a hiking challenge for the Anthony Seddon Fund. I am part of their support crew for the following event:
95km (60mile), 40 summit route in The Lake District in 24 hours on the 9th July. One of the toughest pure hiking routes in England. It will start and finish in Keswick and pass through the North Western fells to Buttermere. Climb more summits on the way to Scafell Pike and Great Gable before crossing the pass of Dunmail Raise and the ridge that includes Helvellyn and back to Keswick.
About Anthony Seddon: We are a small mental health charity, passionate about helping local people who are living with mental illness and its effects. We aim to advance awareness and educate the general public, in particular children and young people, in all areas relating to mental health and well-being. We also wish to improve the quality of life of people affected by mental health issues, their families, friends and carers, in Tameside and surround areas by promoting and protecting their physical and mental health through practical support, education and advice.
