Story

On 19th April 2013 I will be participating in the Jordan Desert Trek This entails five days of trekking, through mountain and desert terrain, from the Dead Sea to Petra. http://www.actionforcharity.co.uk/eventdetailsnew2.php/urlsearch/Britain-V-Cancer-Jordan-Trek-Group-1

I have already climbed the Yorkshire Three Peaks as part of my training  and I am doing it to raise funds for The Iain Rennie Hospice at Home.

It is now 25 years since my close friend Karen Breakwell died of ovarian cancer and 6 years since my father, Roger Lewis, died of leukaemia. Both were cared for in the last days of their lives by the wonderful Iain Rennie nurses. Their aim is to make the choice to stay at home a reality by providing access to 24/7 hospice care at home. I have also known many other people who have been supported by this wonderful charity.

Please help me to raise funds for Iain Rennie. It’s simple, fast and totally secure. All the money donated will be sent directly to the charity.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
