Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My cousin's son David Greaves tragically died of Motor Neurone Disease aged 31 years. David's family have tirelessly raised money for MND Association. David was a very tall, handsome, caring and friendly young man. He went from successfully competing in an Iron Man Triathlon to needing 24 hour care in about 15 months, having been diagnosed with MND. At the moment there is no way to cure this terrible disease, or to easily diagnose it in the early stages.
Singer - songwriter and DJ Tom Robinson, the man behind 2-4-6-8 Motorway and Glad to be Gay, is a friend of David's family and raised a lot of money for MND by adding a concert to his tour which was inspirational. So I have decided to have a go at the Spring Triathlon at Edge Hill University, Ormskirk on April 8th in aid of MND. I have never done anything like this before. I love swimming, like cycling and endure running - or shuffling! Hopefully it won't take all day to get around the course, but I will be delighted if I'm able to provide a little extra funding for MND. Please help me do this and tell your friends.
