Dear friends

Some of you may already know that in a moment of madness, I signed up to run the first ever York marathon.

Given that it's happening this month (Sunday 20th October), it's time to finally go public!!

I wasn't looking for sponsorship but so many of you have asked about it, I decided that if any of you want to acknowledge my madness then a donation of any amount to BKPA would be appropriate as I will be running for my dear Dad, Charles, who died in April and was so well cared for at Monklands Renal Unit.

Any donations would be hugely appreciated but your moral support will be more than enough to get me over that finishing line ....
