Joy was diagnosed with renal failure in 1992 and was so blessed to receive a kidney transplant within 6 months. It gave her an almost completely normal life until 2022, when she began dialysis. Throughout these 30 years she was supported by St Helier & Surrey Kidney Patients Association and requested that donations be made to them.
