Why does Mencap need its very own Santa?
Every organisation needs a fantasy figure or two, and at this time of year it has to be a Santa.

What special qualities do you have that would make you the perfect Santa for 2007?
I like dressing up and red is a lovely colour.  I don't really have a beard and so I'm younger than I look.  Mostly I'm kind and generous and remember birthdays, especially children's birthdays.

Santa is responsible for the magic and spirit of Christmas. If you could grant the Mencap community one wish, what would it be?
A chance for everyone with a learning disability to fulfill their potential and to make their own decisions.
