Journey4gurmal has been set up in memory of our dear friend Gurmal Thind who sadly passed away from GVHD following treatment for Leukaemia. Before G passed away, a number of his family and friends expressed an interest in partaking in charity events in his honour. G decided that LeukaemiaUK would be his charity of choice due to the great work and research carried out by them in finding cures for blood related diseases.

Therefore, journey4gurmal was set up as a platform for these charity events and to spread awareness of LeukaemiaUK in memory of Gurmal. At present, some of the events include Paddle-boarding the English Channel, the first stage of SAS selection called the ‘FanDance’, the Jurassic Coast ultra marathon and a 100km endurance walk but to name a few. The plan is to complete various endurance events over the next few years in an attempt to raise £10,000. Please follow our progress on instagram and facebook @journey4gurmal.
