Hello friends & family. We are headed to Chisinau in Moldova for two weeks in July to volunteer with Refugee Support Europe. Refugee Support EU arrived in Moldova at the beginning of March and set up a Dignity Centre as a way of supporting the people of Ukraine. The Dignity Centre provides a safe space for people to ‘shop’ for groceries and essentials using a points-based system, designed specifically to promote a sense of agency and autonomy for individuals and families who have fled war.

We are financially independent, which means that 100% of your donation goes directly to those in need. Any amount makes a difference, and so any amount is greatly appreciated. Although we aren’t there until July, this fundraising platform is linked directly to Refugee Support EU, which means they receive the funds as soon as you’ve made your donation.

Your donation gives a refugee family something extra – a little of their dignity back. We fill the gaps in the support they need to help them now and in their futures. But *how* we do things is just as important as *what* we do. We do it in a way that puts dignity and normality first. As a small and independent charity, all of your donation goes where it is most needed. And it gets there quickly. We're also committed to supporting the local, host community.
