Story
As some of you may remember I raised over £200 for Amnesty International last year by competing and winning the WFMA annual charity tournament.
So I'm doing it again, and fully intend to claim the title for a second year running. The WFMA tournament is a semi contact weapon sparring competition. The competitors will be mostly or all members of WFMA; a group which aims to practice a wide range of martial art styles together and develop the various techniques into something new.
This year I chose Mind as my charity of choice, some of you may know I have been suffering from depression for many years now, and as such I know that people with mental health issues are fragile and often marginalised. Mind does an awful lot of very good work with and for the benefit of people suffering with a wide spectrum of mental health difficulties. In this era of cuts and austerity the NHS is losing vital services and charities such as Mind are fighting against that whilst picking up the pieces. So please donate, even a few quid will help them.
