My name is Josh Bartlett and I'm 8 years old. Every year I like to partake in a fundraising challenge over the summer holidays, as I hate sitting still for too long & I love fundraising. This year I've chosen to do the Great Wall of China Conqueror virtual Challenge (161 miles) whilst raising money for Macmillian Cancer. I know its going to take me a long time, but I'm determined to do it, no matter how long it takes! 

I'll be running, walking, scooting, playing sport & exercising my way every day until I reach my goal of 161 miles!

Unfortunately, a member of our family is currently battling cancer and we have many friends who are battling/have battled cancer over the years. Sadly a young girl in my primary school is battling cancer right now! 

Also, being a HUGE Leicester Tigers fan, seeing Tom Young's wife, Tiffany lose her battle to cancer recently made me really sad & I decided I wanted to help. There's too many people losing their lives to this horrible disease. Macmillian have helped and supported so many sufferers and families, that fundraising is vital so they can keep doing what they do best... Supporting & helping!
