Story
On the 16.10.23, I turned one year sober. For those who don't know, for many years I was a daily binge drinker.
I have since completed a full year sober, and will continue to be sober for the rest of my life. It's been a fantastic year, of training, working hard, and pushing forward in life, spending time with my beautiful girlfriend, Aimie, training with good friends at the Green Mile, and working hard with good friends and colleagues Chris and Craig.
I have recently completed a couple of challenges, including the Cardiff Half Marathon in a time of 1.41.37.
However to mark the occasion of one year of sobriety, I wanted to something more drastic.. to that end, I don't think there is much more drastic than stepping into a cage to fight someone... And in the process raising money for an incredible cause.
The fight is on the 8th of December in Cardiff, and I will be training incredibly hard for the next 8 weeks leading up to fight night.
For those who know me well, know that I don't do things in half measures, and so I would love to raise as much money as possible in the process.
Any donations are incredibly well received, both small and large. I understand that at this point in time, everyone is struggling with Money, even just a £1 donation would be incredible.
Thank you for reading and donating! I will post the fight video on Facebook once it is released, whether I get my arse handed to me or not.
Cheers,
Josh
