Josh's Paris Marathon 2017

Paris Marathon 2017 · 9 April 2017 ·
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On the 9th April 2017 I will be embarking on one of my biggest challenges to date; the gruelling 26.2 mile run across Paris. This will all be in aid of a great cause - The PMGY Foundation.
The PMGY Foundation aims to prevent or relieve poverty of people living in Bali, India and Sri Lanka by providing or assisting in the provision of education, training, healthcare projects and all the necessary support designed to enable individuals to generate a sustainable income and be self-sufficient.
The ultimate aim is to help provide financial aid to people in these countries, and to enable donations to be directed towards specific hand-picked projects.
Such projects where your money will be contributing to directly include the developments of dental and eye care departments in the slum community of India, building of classrooms in Bali, supporting a children's home in Ghana and sponsoring children to go to school in Sri Lanka covering all their annual school expenses who otherwise would not have the opportunities.
For those of you who know me a little closer the marathon will coincide with my personal goal of shifting a little holiday weight too!
I am a trustee of the charity and we ensure that 100% of any money raised will all be going to the projects on the ground in communities that need it most. None of the money raised will be used towards administrative costs and all personal expenses such as travel costs and race entry are covered by myself.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
