Story
In the summer of 2015 I along with a group of students from my university will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro the world's largest free-standing mountain to raise money for The Children's Society.
Those of you who are friends or relatives will know that I have volunteered for charity in the past and am committed to doing what I can to help alleviate poverty. I want to raise as much as I can for the Children’s Society who do important work supporting the children of the UK living in poverty or in difficult circumstances without the advantages that I have been privileged to have.
My target is £3000 and anything you can give will make a difference to a child’s life. Whether that's a large or small donation every little helps. With your money we will be able to help make the world a safer place for children based in the UK.
The group hope to reach the summit in 6 days. The Trek is scheduled for June 2015 so I have a lot of fund raising to do in a short time. I was inspired to participate in this trek by family members and others who have completed the climb. Thank you for your support and taking the time to donate.
