I have decided to throw myself way out of my comfort zone and take part in a white collar boxing event to raise money for cancer research in memory of not only my grandad but my dads very best friend Steve. 

Not only has my family lost people to cancer like many other families, but there is amazing people we know battling with cancer. 

Losing my grandad was very hard after he battled a number of years with bowel cancer. Then when we found out my dads best friend had been diagnosed, it was so hard for us all to believe. Then only a short period after being diagnosed, the fight became too hard and he was cruelly taken away from us. I have done race for life’s in memory of my grandad so felt it only right that this event was more in memory of Steve!

I may not win the fight in a ring but at least this will help people win their fight with cancer!
