When disasters take place all over the world, the DEC brings together Britain's leading aid agencies, including the Red Cross, Save the Children and Oxfam, to swiftly get aid to where it is needed most. It is currently campaigning to raise funds for the crisis in Syria, providing food, emergency shelter and healthcare to those who have fled their homes.
