As some of you may well be aware, my life, my passion, my career and my drive is centred around making music. Listening to music inspired me to make music and share it other people which has given me some amazing life experiences. As my career evolves into teaching the art of music making to young people in the community and education alongside with working in production its made me appreciate the basics of what is important to me in my life. The simple ability to "hear" music is what brings me joy and therefore I have decided to to play a part in helping those who are not able to enjoy the same thing. 

On 20th September 2009 I will be taking part in the BUPA Great North Run in the north east of England and raising funds for the Royal National Institute of Deaf people (RNID). The RNID are the UK's No.1 charity for the deaf and hard of hearing. They work hard in campaigning for change, in providing services and training and in actively supporting scientific and technological research amongst many other benefits for the deaf and hard of hearing. 

I have decided to give my all in aid of this charity and event and my goal is not just to complete the half marathon but complete it well inside 2 hours which will take a great deal of commitment to attain the level of fitness required. I am well under way into my 6 day per week training program which is building my stamina, strength and endurance to a level where I can achieve my potential for this cause.
