Story
The day before I rode stage 1 of the 2014 TdF, I found out my wife was pregnant. A little over 9 months later, Sebastian was born.
Unfortunately there were serious complications - his heart stopped, and it took 15 minutes for him to breathe unaided. He then spent 2 weeks in intensive care in an incubator before being allowed home. We had huge amounts of support from friends, family and the medical staff at the Princess Royal.
This is to raise money to support those that aren't as lucky as we were. In terms of pain, this is the equivalent of cycling from London to Brighton and back, whilst going over Ben Nevis, Snowdon & Scafell Pike. Nice.
