Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My beautiful wife Sandie, above, only 1 month before she passed away, was diagnosed in 2019 with a pulmonary artery sarcoma (PAS) and despite this rare form of sarcoma being surgically removed before Easter 2019 the disease returned end of December the same year and by the end of January 2020 she was unable to walk 10 yards and on May 12 2020 she sadly passed away age only 53.leaving behind her daughter Francesca, son Marcus and of course me her adoring husband.
Sandie was a teachers assistant at Plumberow School in Hockley, Essex, she was so so loved by all who knew her, including all her family, friends, colleagues and of course the children she helped in school.
Sarcoma and in particular PAS is a rare and vicious disease, life expectancy is very short after diagnosis, a form of cancer that is very difficult to diagnose and extremely difficult to treat it is resistant to treatments such as chemotherapy. Urgent research is needed into Sarcoma so that effective diagnostic tools and treatment can be developed.
In Sandie’s memory please help my family and I raise funds for Sarcoma UK so that desperately needed research can be conducted to address Sarcoma and provide a cure that will save another family’s dear family member.
