Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Our well-used and much loved Village Hall is now beyond repair.  Our villages took the decision some time ago to build a replacement; planning permission is through and we are well on the way to raising the money.  The Village Hall Committee is hoping to start building in the spring of 2011.

We Spencers are determined to do our bit as a family towards realising this dream.  Caroline's Great Uncle Bill chaired the first Village Hall Management Committee, and signed the original trust deed; Tony and Celia Armitage (Caroline's parents) were hugely involved in raising the money to build the current Hall, and Caroline's sister Lucy as a young child cut the first turf.  So we want to continue this family tradition!  Please help and give as generously as you can.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
