Story
On the 11th of June I will be completing as many repetitions as i can (ascent and decent) of the Pen Y Fan.
However I will be carrying a concept 2 rowing machine weighing 26kg on my back during the repetition. Once on the top of the Pen Y Fan I will then row the height of the mountain, being 886m.
This is a charity event for Combat Stress and I have chosen this charity as its very close to my heart due to my own personal experiences.
2017 I suffered a Stroke
2020 I underwent heart surgery to lower the risk of future illness
2021 I was diagnosed with PSTD from those events
2022 I had a heart monitor fitted.
If you would like to donate to this charity event I would be very grateful , mental health issues have increased massively during the corona virus pandemic and need as much help as possible.
Combat Stress are the UK’s leading charity for veterans’ mental health. For over a century, they’ve helped former servicemen and women deal with trauma-related mental health problems such as anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).They’re on a mission to raise awareness that invisible injuries can be just as hard to cope with as physical ones. So when a veteran is having a tough time, they’re there to help them tackle the past and take on the future.
