My name is Jonathan, thank you for taking out the time to read my JustGiving page. It seems rather odd that I would select CLIC Sargent to sponsor me for the BUPA Great North Run. The reason I have chosen this brilliant charity is this.

Those of you who know me well will be aware that I have recently lost over 10 stone over a period of 8 months. This massive change got me thinking. The only reason I was able to do the exercise and all the hard work was that my body was healthy and undamaged enough to allow me. This is where the choice of CLIC Sargent came in. I could scarcely imagine how much more difficult the process would have been if my body was not healthy enough to do the exercise.

The battle against cancer is a long and difficult. It takes a superhuman effort to overcome and it especially takes its toll on young people who had their whole lives ahead of them prior to being diagnosed. The donations will go towards the support and treatment of these children who are struggling at this very moment. This is, without a doubt a cause that is worthy of your time and support as well and encourage you do donate, everything you give will go straight CLIC Sargent.
