This year marks the 10th anniversary of the annual Halifax to Blackpool Walk in memory of Naomi Cheri Gough who sadly lost her life in a road accident on 10th January 2007.
We will set off on the morning of 2nd August 2017 and arrive in Blackpool on the evening of the 4th August 2017.
We will be walking approximately 20 miles a day, no matter what the weather. We will be camping on the Wednesday and Thursday nights and have very limited facilities!
The money raised will support the aims of the Charity in providing financial assistance towards funeral costs to bereaved parents/guardians of children and young people up to the age of 25 years of age who have been killed on our roads. The Charity also delivers road safety messages in schools and provides counselling to bereaved parents/guardians.
