I am taking part in the Grand Depart Classic, riding the whole of the first road stage of the 2018 Tour de France, the week before the pros.

That's 195 km in 1 day, a massive challenge as the most I have rode is 150 km when I was 20 years old!

I’ve signed up to this to push my limits, in order to save men’s lives, but I need your help. Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men. Every hour one man dies from prostate cancer – that's more than 10,800 men every year. 1 in 8 men will get prostate cancer in their lifetime. Ignoring prostate cancer won't beat it. 

Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition – to stop men dying from prostate cancer. Through shifting the science over the next 10 years to focus on radical improvements in diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and support, we will stop prostate cancer being a killer.
