Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Once again, I'm taking on this challenge in honour of my fab sister Geraldine, to help the brilliant folks at Breast Cancer Now achieve their aim that by 2050, no one will die from breast cancer in the UK. That's from the current position of 1,000 deaths EVERY MONTH, so you can see there's much still to be done.
More and more women (and let's not forget the men that also get it) are surviving breast cancer. But those 35,000 women living with secondary breast cancer (where the cancer returns to the bones, and other organs such as the lungs, pelvis and brain) don't have that luxury. We HAVE to change that, for the sake of all those still at risk - our daughters, sisters, wives, girlfriends, so that they don't have to go through what my sister (and all those other 35,000) lives with every single day.
Please donate whatever you can, so that we can make this world one where no one has to fear it any more, where everyone can face it in the knowledge they will survive. We're so close, but we're not quite there.
