Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I was diagnosed with MS in 2005. I've now reached the secondary progressive (all downhill from here) phase and my mobility has deteriorated badly over the last year.  I can't walk very well but can still cycle tandem with my wonderful husband, John.  The tandem is great as John balances for both of us, all I have to do is pedal.  And, just for the record before any wise-cracks, yes I do pedal!

I heard about Justin and Sioned Kendell and team cycling from PYG (Snowden, North Wales)) to the Pyrenees (South of France) through the MS Trust, an absolutely brilliant UK charity providing first class information and support for people with MS  to live life to the full. Justin can't walk more than 500m, just like me.  Amazingly, he can still ride a solo bike (jealous) and even does hills and mountains (mad). To demonstrate this the team have set off on their awesome fundraising trip for the MS Trust.

As they are passing close to Somerset we thought we should meet up and join them for a leg across Wiltshire.  I've double checked the route and am pleased to confirm that there are no mountains!
