John Winder sadly passed away on 30th December 2020 at home after a short illness, with family at his side. Much loved by Cherry his wife of 61 years, and offspring Mark (& Lena), Paul (& Muna), Rachel (& Robin) and Jane (& Stuart), and 5 grandchildren, Johanna, Jasper, Amelia, Finlay and Freya.

In these difficult times, John will be laid to rest soon in a private and, unfortunately, very restricted ceremony. Please donate to Dad's charities instead of sending flowers (as a water engineer, Dad was passionate about improving people's lives through provision of clean water in many parts of the world). 

You are also invited to share your thoughts and memories of John when you donate, if you wish. Should you prefer an alternative charity to Water Aid, Dad was also a keen supporter of Amnesty International and UNICEF UK.
