Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

A few years ago my father-in-law passed away due to Huntington's Disease, a few years later and my wife and her siblings were diagnosed with the same illness. There is no care and little proven preventative medicine so I have been trying to raise money to help as this is all I can do!

I started small with a half marathon, then I moved onto the Atlantic Coast Challenge (3 marathons in 3 days) where I raised £2500, peoples kindness in donating never ceases to amaze me.

Next up for this former 19st lump is an Ironman, 2.8 mile swim in open water, 112 miles on a bike and a 26.2 run to finish. The hardest challenge so far by a long way so please help me do what little I can to fight this terrible illness and donate, every penny counts!

Many, many thanks,

John Yelland
