John's Double Mucker / Spartan Ultra Beast

Burghley House Double Mucker / Spartan Ultra Beast · 29 December 2019
As of 2020 Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust (ACT) have a target of raising £100'000 for cancer services.
Cancer treatments continue to improve, as do patient outcomes, but more still needs to be done.
As a result, to support ACTs goal, I am attempting to raise £5'000 by completing two Ultra Obstacle Course Races (OCRs) in 2020 - the Burghley House Double Mucker as part of their Rat Race weekend on May 9th (64km, 400 obstacles), and the Spartan Ultra Beast (https://www.spartanrace.uk/en/race/race-types/endurance-events?article=37030) through the wilds of Scotland on September 19th.
To increase the challenge there are cut-off points at both races, so walking round isn't an option.
Both races are fairly new, so to the best of my knowledge no-one has ever completed both in the same year.
£5'000 is a lot to raise, but whether you can spare 50p or £50 it all helps, and every penny goes towards ACT's £100'000 target.
Please share this on social media as well - the more people that know, the sooner ACT achieve their goal. Thank you.
