The Mothers Union is a Christian organisation that has been supporting families for over 140 years.  Members work to bring hope and practical support to people, in this country and abroad, through parenting, literacy and community development.  They campaign locally, nationally and internationally to bring about change for family life, women’s and girls’ rights and for the protection of children.  Margaret was a member of the All Saints, Bearsden Branch of the Mother’s Union for many years including serving as the branch leader.
