Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On behalf of the church, six intrepid members of the Chiddingstone community (press ganged into bungee jumping by John 'King's Shilling' Roundhill), are going to be bungee jumping in Brighton on the 24th July.  This entails, jumping off a perfectly solid crane attached to what appears to be a grown up elastic band, in order to plummet toward solid earth.

An early straw poll seems to suggest that over 50% of the 'volunteers' have a fear of heights.

Please, please give generously to make the bolt-upright-in-bed-at-2-in-the-morning moments of these brave souls count for a good cause - We are jumping so no one else has to!

Well we did it and there are photographs on the site here to prove it.  It really was as terrifying as it sounds!  While this page is still open it is still possible to donate to help raise more funds.
