Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In memory of my older brother Mark Ninnis, I am fundraising for the Velindre Cancer Centre, South Wales.

I will be taking part in the 3 Peak Challenge on 13th -15th September 2019. This challenge involves climbing 3 mountains: Ben Nevis (1344m), Scafell Pike (978m) and Snowdon (1085m).

My brother Mark had Cancer, which Velindre provided outstanding support, care and treatment during his two year journey. Even though he sadly passed away in November 2018, my family are forever in gratitude for the care Velindre provided during this time.

Mark will forever be at the forefront of our minds and we will always miss him. I know he would want me to give something back for the kindness Velindre provided.

Despite us losing him, we believe that there is always hope. We believe that treatment will only advance through medical research, that is helped significantly by charitable donations.

Mark was a beacon of light during his cancer journey and his strength was an inspiration to us all.

This is for my Big brother who I will always miss.
