I was diagnosed with Wegeners Granulomatosis (A very Serious Autoimmune Disease) in 2007 I was told at the time that I might last just 4 weeks BUT I am still here. I am wanting to encourage others who have been diagnosed with WG or any other type of Vasculitis that they can live relatively normal lives despite having to have regular medical attention. I will be walking from Lochinver to Tongue in the Scottish Highlands (79 miles) which will include climbing 3 mountains, from the 24th May to the 28th May staying in hostels and wild camping. I will be doing this with a work colleague who is a Mountain Leader in his spare time. We both work for Scottish Power who will match what ever funds we raise.
