Cancer is horrible and I would be surprised if anyone who reads this hasn't been affected themselves or don't know a family member or friend who has. Children with Cancer UK are a smaller charity but provide an excellent service and their aims are to determine the causes, find cures and provide care for children with cancer.

Almost 4,000 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer every year in the UK, that's 10 children a day dealing with the terrible news but with every donation it will help support this amazing charity as we take the fight to cancer.

In the UK, cancer is the most common cause of death in children aged 1 to 14 years, accounting for around one fifth of deaths in this age group.

On a personal level I have lost several family members to cancer but also so sad to hear of children dealing with this horrible disease and it is genuinely heart breaking, so although I will be very nervous and will be my first skydive I will happily do it to raise as much money as possible.
