Story
** When I did the 2017 Walk for ME, I discovered that Just Giving appear to automatically email everybody who had donated in the past, without my knowledge or consent. I'm not sure how this is turned off, if indeed one can turn it off. But I just wanted to apologise if you do receive any emails from Just Giving asking for donations **
It's the 6th Walk for ME! At the risk of indulging in a little cliché, where does that time go?! In my case it's a very solid case of 6 years older, and certainly none the wiser! ;)
I'll refrain from writing my 'M.E. story' this time around, as I'm pretty sure all potential donators know this by now, and I have no desire to risk inflicting any instances of narcolepsy (particularly if you happen to be bent over your morning bowl of cereal or over a steaming hot beverage) upon those I consider friends.
All I will say is that ANY amount (literally a £1 means we're a £1 closer to a cure! ... Of course £1000 would get us even closer - hah! Well you don't know if you don't try) would be very gratefully received indeed. The only way we're going to best this disease is by continued research, and the only way that can continue is with as much funding as possible.
Thank you.
