I'm off to Berlin at the end of September to attempt the Berlin Marathon, 26 miles or hardship including around 13 miles of reasonable fun, 5 miles of doubt, soul-searching and energy gels, followed up with a further leisurely 8 miles of wall breaking misery and sheer hell. So I've heard. Personally I reckon the hardest bit will be the 3 days spent in Berlin prior to the race without beer.

Go on folks, we all know someone who has been affected by cancer, please give to this very worthy cause.
