Parkside do an incredible job locally and I have supported them for over a decade. Due to many cutbacks, they lack financial support and I want to make a difference to the Saturday friendship group, which includes the football section run by Malcolm Jamieson. Unfortunately they lost their free venue and now have to use Aldershot Park in all weathers, which everyone knows gets a bit wet. We can rent the lido football pitch for £30 a session and the funds raised will ensure we have a couple of years rent covered. Barclays will very kindly match every donation, so I hope to raise £2000 in total.
