Aged 5 years old Mia was diagnosed with an optic pathway glioma
 For nearly 10 years she fought bravely against this, through numerous surgeries and chemotherapy. The tumour caused several issues such as hypothalamic disorder and lead to Mia completely losing her vision. Sadly Mia passed away in August 2020 a few weeks before her 15th birthday. Mia was an incredibly brave young lady who whenever i saw was always smiling and chatting. I am running for Children with Cancer in her memory and for those that continue their battle against cancer!
