Although Ghana is reaping the benefits of a stable democracy, many Ghanaians still suffer poverty and high levels of unemployment this leads to children not enrolling in schools and instead go into cheap labour.

 Our goal is to get children the to stay in school and help any support in learning they need. We entice them to stay in by having this Football For Hope centre as if they go to school for the week they get access to Our pitches and facilities. On Thursdays we do creative sessions and Fridays is sports and physical activities.

Group 6 have just got back from Ghana and have left us with the start of Cape Coasts first Job center. This is exciting because it enables us to now not just help tackle lack of enrollment in schools but also help those finished school seeking employment.

I am required by ICS to raise a minimum of £1500 to take part in the program. This will contribute to the ICS programme so all 7,000 young people from the UK and overseas can volunteer each year.
